Coin Excelsior - The Contemporary Department Store
Coin Excelsior is a new format to launch Coin as a premium department store, upgrading its offer with Brands belonging to the accessible luxury category alongside Italian and international contemporary Brands.
The first store opened in 2014 in Rome, Venice was renovated in 2015 and the plan is to replicate the success by trasforming more Coin stores into Coin Excelsior in the near future.
The heart of Rome, and specifically via Cola di Rienzo, is the location chosen to host the very first Coin Excelsior, the premium department store paving the new pathway of the historical brand.
4,300 square metres of floor space spanning three floors, inside a building from the early twentieth century with an Art Nouveau feel, completely redesigned by architect Vincenzo De Cotiis. An evolution of the brand towards the high end, expressed in a carefully selected range of Italian and international fashion, beauty and home décor brands, displayed in an elegant space designed to treat customers to a vibrant, unique shopping experience.

A splendid hall dedicated to beauty products and jewellery and a first floor dedicated to fashion welcome visitors to a shopping experience that is more than worthy of our magnificent capital city.
Three floors linked thanks to new vertical connections and a large lamp that comes down from the skylight to emphasise the centrality of the space.

The ground floor is dedicated to the world of beauty and jewellery, from the shop-in-shop of Tiffany & Co to must-have international fine scents and a selection of contemporary brands including Aveda, Kiehl’s and Mac.
The first floor is entirely dedicated to fashion. Marc Jacobs, Valentino RED, Joseph, Lauren by Ralph Lauren, Armani Collezioni, Patrizia Pepe and Allsaints are some of the brands in the women’s range. Paul Smith, Z di Zegna, Hugo boss and many others feature in the menswear selection, which caters for the demanding, sophisticated customer seeking practical garments for both day and leisure wear.
Coin has chosen the heart of Rome and via Cola Di Rienzo for the first Coin Excelsior in Italy, which will offer a new way of perceiving the worlds of fashion and contemporary lifestyle.
