Coin takes great care to respect the Privacy of its customers and the visitors to its Website. Therefore, before providing your data, please read the following information which explains who we are, why we are collecting your data, how we will use them and what your rights are. N.B.: if you are under 18, you must obtain your parents’ permission in order to sign up.

a) Data Controller: Coin S.r.l., with registered and administrative office in Mestre (VE), via Terraglio no. 17 (hereinafter “Coin”), is the Data Controller; indeed, it is the company that collects and processes your personal data and, pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 “Data Protection Act” (hereinafter the “Data Protection Act”), it provides you with the following information.

b) Purpose of data collection: Your data will be used to contact you – by Newsletter – for advertising or sales-related communications relative to exclusive benefits that Coin and its commercial partners have reserved for those registered, and to find out how satisfied you are with the services we offer.

c) Compulsory data and optional data: Failure to provide the data requested will prevent you from receiving our Newsletter.

d) Your consent: In order to contact you and send you advertising/sales-related material or to perform market research, we need your explicit consent. If you do not intend to provide your consent, you will not be able to proceed in registering.

e) How we process your data: Your data will be processed in compliance with the laws in force and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee its security and confidentiality, as well as to prevent it from being divulged, put to unauthorised uses, altered or destroyed. In particular, the data will be processed in compliance with the terms of the relevant legal provisions in force – and any subsequent amendments and/or addenda to the same – issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (including the Guidelines on Marketing and against Spam of 4 July 2013 and the Guidelines regarding the treatment of personal data for online profiling activity of 19 March 2015).

f) Who we communicate your data to: Your data will not be disseminated and may come to the knowledge of the following recipients: (i) companies which provide website maintenance and IT file storage and processing services for us; (ii) companies that manage promotional activities (in this case limited to email addresses only). These parties operate as external Data Supervisors pursuant to Article 29 of the Data Protection Act: the names of all the external Data Supervisors can be obtained by sending a request to the addresses indicated below. The data may come to the knowledge of the managers and operators of the Image Management – Web &digital – Brand marketing and Sales – CRM and Customer Care departments of Coin, and also to that of the managers and operators of the IT Management department of the company OVS S.p.A., appointed as external Data Supervisor pursuant to Article 29 of the Data Protection Act.

g) Your rights: By sending an email to Coin addressed to: servizioclienti@coin.it or using the form provided at http://www.coin.it/contacts, you can exercise your rights as per Article 7 of the Data Protection Act, including 1) the right to obtain, without delay, confirmation of whether any of your personal data is held on file […]; 2) the right to obtain: a) information about the source of the personal data, the purposes of the processing and the methods used, the reasoning behind the processing performed with the aid of electronic tools, the details identifying the Data Controller or Data Supervisors, as well as the parties or categories of parties to which the data can be communicated, or to whose knowledge it can come, in their role as Data Supervisors or persons in charge of the processing; the updating, correction or, should it be in your interests, the integration of the data; b) the removal, anonymisation or blocking of any data processed in breach of the law; 3) the right to fully or partially oppose the processing of your personal data for the purposes of sending commercial information, advertising or direct sales material, or for the performance of market research or sales-related communication. You reserve the right to obtain a copy/ the portability of your data, to have the processing restricted or to revoke any authorisation you may have issued for the processing at any time, and to open a claim opposing the processing with the Italian Data Protection Authority (http://www.garanteprivacy.it/web/guest/home_en).

h) Who the Data Supervisor is: The pro tempore Sales Director has been appointed at Data Supervisor, the name of whom and an updated list of the other Data Supervisors can be obtained by sending a request pursuant to the methods specified in point g) above.
